Mixing records since 1994, DJ Fly Agaric 23 spins breakbeat funk, jazz, blues, reggae, jungle, soul and spoken word from his wide ranging collection. Performing from Birmingham to Bristol to London, Amsterdam to San Francisco, he’s played thousands of shows with 23 years of experience.

As a scratch DJ, fly performed hundreds of shows from British Columbia to New York to Los Angeles, with jam band super-group: Garaj Mahal. Steve Fly currently records shows for radio free Amsterdam with a focus on free-form funk, blues, jazz and spoken word.

Besides DJ sets, Steve fly also produces music for the stage, (cosmic trigger play) and performs with an array of musical collectives.
