Victory? Winner?
Victory! Winner?
It’s VE day (Victory In Europe) and agreeably a time for reflection, and paying tribute or doing whatever it is you do, or saying whatever it is you wish to say. Let me take this opportunity to reflect a little from my limited perspective.
What would your grandad or dad, or grandmother, or mother, sister, brother, son or daughter say? If they were alive now, what clea message do YOU think they would say? Let that percolate, and I’ll give you my best answer.
I have not personally seen, tasted or smelt the horrors of any war zone, not like many soldiers, reporters, journalists (like Chris Hedges) and poor innocent civilians. I have read books and watched films, documentaries about war, and in particular World War II, an extremely popular subject matter on a lot of very popular platforms like, The Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Netflix and thousands of independent(ish) channels. You would think we would all be experts by now on the subject of war, on Hitler and on the Nazis. What happened, how, why, and most importantly how to ensure that it NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!
My instinct tells me that anybody who has seen the horrors of war, killing, mutilation and terror, no matter what the outcome, would not be doing a jig in celebration of victory. No, that was for the people back home who only saw what the media showed them, and read about what the newspapers told them. Any celebrations might be reserved until they were sure the Nazi’s and the violent aggressors were completely destroyed, never again able to take root in a country and stir up nationalistic hatred for out-groups using lies, distortion and violent propaganda.
War, and World War II in particular was a noticeable presence in my childhood, from playing army down the woods, probably inspired by war films, to dressing up as a World War II child refugee and taking part in WWII themed day out organized by the school, where we visited RAF Cosford. Naturally this interest in War, ignited by playing war games with other children for fun, not to take a neighbours house or occupy their garden, destroy anything. These were imaginary games of harmless fun. And so it is with the spirit of play and what I hope is harmless fun, that I reflect on WWII, Nazis, and war in a general sense. My way of paying respect. Attempting honesty, and brevity.
My Grandad Jim served and fought in WWII, and my Grandma Mae, with Jim, lived through the pre-war, war time and post war periods. Yes, fighting was the ultimate sacrifice, but for many the struggle was consistent throughout the 1930s, 40s, 50s, 60s. Let’s also remember and give thanks to those who stayed human and kind and resilient when surrounded by violence, hatred and horror. To have not joined up with the local fascist racist political party at home, and helped forward their slow burn populist agenda. That alone is worthy of praise and respect. And lend a thought to the generations of ancestors before you who sacrificed, endured and escaped death by various means to produce YOU! Human.I’ve been brazenly shouting “Look, Nazis!” for quite a while now, bolstered by the rise of the Republican son of the CIA, George Bush Jnr. After a moderate amount of reading into the Nazi CIA Tsarist alliance, featuring General Reinhardt Ghelen, James Jesus Angleton, Brothers Dulles and a gang of so called ex-nazis who gained employment with the United States government and intelligence and technology firms, oh, and some banking business too, I was only slightly worried they..were back again in a new mask. Sprinkle in some Mafia connections, some secret exclusively white male member secret societies, and all manner of religious maniacs who’d trade a toddlers lunch for a bullet, if it meant victory for their side, and you are close to what I thought was going on.
What is their side? Who are they? I mentioned a lot just now. Can’t we just call them the dead Nazis of WWII, and forget about the rest? Surely, those enacting eugenics based laws, deporting foreign people without legal permission, supporting the genocide of an entire people, trading weapons with known agressors and genocidal maniacs, surely these are not Nazis! They’re all dead, I saw the documentary on Youtube.
So it begins, what is your interpretation of events, the current battle space and the way we got here? How would you describe the marker points on your Nazi-ometer, or your fascist-ometer? How do you compare, what is your method and by what measure? Logic, reason, suspicion, fact, feeling, opinion, axiomatic? I wasn’t even close, it turns out that the fictional works of Robert Anton Wilson are closer to the current reality I perceive, (insane Trump / Vance / Putin / Theil), than his non-fiction work. We seem to be all living in an episode of Illuminatus! Trilogy (co-authored with Robert Shea). Terrifyingly absurd, dangerously dicing with extinction.
I’ve laid my theories out over the last two decades, in blogs and books and albums, for anybody to go back and look at, compare, judge, analyse, rebound back at me. In a nutshell, I’ve been warning about the rise of far-right populism, ideology and anti-science for a while, admittedly for the most part powered by and bolstered by the writing of Robert Anton Wilson. Read him. What Bob says. He does not mistake the symptom for a cause. Wilson lays out all the choices, both collectively (Fuller, McLuhan) and as self-owning individuals, without sounding preachy or self-righteous or in any way dictatorial. Take a look at my afterword to his book TSOG for a condensed answer to the above questions.
What is to be done? Breathe properly, be good to yourself and others. Take it one step at a time. Listen more than you speak. All that good stuff is obvious right? Right. Meditate, turn compassion and empathy into a martial art. Transform patience into a deadly species of Kung Fu. While at the same time, strengthen your community bonds, friendships and relationships, check in often, try to engage with parts of culture you would not usually choose, dip your toe in, never be afraid to try new things. Make it new.
So coming back to the question I started with, more or less, what would your ancestors say? What would the spirit of those who died fighting in wars say?
Never Again Is Never Enough. Eternal Flower Power. Perpetual Vigilance. Solidarity With All Oppressed People Suffering Anywhere On Earth. Be The Change You Wish To See.Love, respect.

How Deep Is Putin Dugin?
“The ideology driving Putin has a name: Eurasianism. The idea is to kill off, once and for all liberalism which is viewed as “the greatest threat to the ethno-cultural survival of all the earth’s people”. Those are the words of the man behind Putin, his informal but very vocal ideologue, Alexander Dugin. Eurasianism, the Eurasia Party and the International Eurasian Movement are his brainchildren.
https://impakter.com/deadly-ideology-putin-eurasianism/If you ain’t looked into Dugin yet, I strongly suggest doing so, if you wish to get closer to an understanding of our predicament in 2022. Dugin and his ideas have a direct impact on the invasion of Ukraine and the expansion of Russian space, geopolitically. However, Dugin has a whole heap of other thoughts he is known for, which crisscross many of my own pet interests and on-going study, best described by the tale of the tribe as defined by the late Robert Anton Wilson. (and by myself in my book: Fly On The Tale Of The Tribe)
Dugin seems to be a formidable intellectual opponent, and as repulsive and dangerous and elitist his ideas are, I strongly feel they need puncturing and addressing seriously, immediately. Not least due to what I view as adjacent ideologies sweeping across Europe, the UK, North America and the rest of the world, here called, the Western New Right. In taking on Dugin, and breaking down some of his arguments, I hope to simultaneously address the diseased heart of Putin’s Russia and its western counterpart traced through the double whammy blow to western unity: Brexit and the election of Donald Trump, through the lens of Steve Bannon in the U.S. and Dominic Cummings in the U.K.As a side note, I published a poem 2 years ago titled Bannon Cummings Dugin, loosely focused on this trio of populist deception and confusion. I’m no expert in these areas, I hope to present my suspicions and best guesses, and I also hope acknowledging that can highlight, for starters, the process oriented philosophy and related neurological relativism that I see as a counter strike to dogmatic mystical tsarism. Here’s an example of my beloved Karl Popper, twisted into Dugin’s intricate geopolitical disinformation warfare:
Basing himself on Karl Popper, Dugin defines National Bolshevism as a “meta-ideology common to all the enemies of open society.” Indeed, what is most important for him is that right-wing and left-wing totalitarian ideologies are united in their refusal to accord a central role to the individual and to place it above the collectivity, be it social or national.
Marlene Laruelle, Aleksandr Dugin: A Russian Version of the European Radical Right? One distinguishing feature of Dugin from Bannon and Cummings, seems to me to be his explicit reference to esotericism, by way of his quasi-religious Traditionalism (Traditional Conservatism), rooted in an array of esoteric traditions bent to fit his messianic white supremacist fantasy, or new axis of superpowers, distinct from he calls the Atlanticists (to mean the U.S.A. the U.K., and Western Europe, not the lost city of Atlantis, although he’d probably have a thread about it in his labyrinthine imagination).
Dugin seems to be able to insult and debase religious and spiritual traditions, while at the same time taking bits of them that he likes, and puzzling them together into a Q-anon-like global deep state geopolitical conspiracy. In some sense Dugin is more of a candidate for Q than either Bannon or Watkins, his study and research and practice of occultism plus his geopolitical paranoia, plus his ability to conflate classic left/right ideologies puts him among the roots of the Q-anon movement. Q-anon, like Brexit and European conspiracy mongering has the hallmarks of a Dugin fantasy, resulting in mass demoralization of the west, confusion and paranoia everywhere: trust nobody, they’re all the same, liars. Reports such as the following do not help and only fan the flames of hatred:For example, in 2016 the US–based Christian evangelical organization the World Congress of Families held its annual international conference in Tbilisi, uniting ultraconservative, anti-LGBT+ activists from around the world and featuring local speakers including Patriarch Ilia II and the infamous Levan Vasadze. Former US president George W. Bush expressed his support for the gathering in a public letter that was read onstage.
April Gordan, A New Eurasian Far Right Rising (2020)Who can know how much of Dugin’s intellectual poison has reached Putin? Dugin himself would probably say he was against the invasion of Ukraine, just because that’s what the contrarian would say, or just to add to his self-mythologising and popular appeal. Perhaps Putin suddenly took some parts of Dugin’s rhetoric about War and strength and Eurasia, and decided to give it a go and expand his space, show military aggression and flex it’s dogmatic muscles on the world stage? I don’t know. What I do strongly suspect is that by delving deeper into Dugin’s mind you’ll get a panoramic view of the global conflict, and see the sordid array of Arayan idealists, kleptocratic poster boys and oligarchic engineers. If the phrase “know thy enemy” is anything to go by we’ve all got a lot of reading and some dark and dangerous corridors to investigate to get a handle on Dugin and so by osmosis the sudden escalation of Russian expansion under Putin.
Dugin openly admits that the main sources of his ideology are non-Russian anti-democratic concepts.
Andreas Umland, Neo-Eurasianism”, the question of Russian fascism and Russian political discourse.Putin aside, and Bannon and Cummings and Watkins and all the others who are seemingly influenced by the work of Dugin, I’d like to look at Dugin alone, and I’d like to pitch his wide range of geopolitical, religious Traditionalist, esoteric, conspiratorial, eschatological and psychological ideas against those of an equally formidable character on the subject matter, our man, Robert Anton Wilson.
In my estimation, and as I’ve described through dozens of articles, essays, albums and films, few individuals who lived through the 20th/21st century have managed to make sense out of it. Both humanitarian science/technology, physics, mathematics, biology, and arts, conspiracy theory, esotericism and some damn damn good humored jokes. I’m biased, but I view RAW’s collected output as an adequate response to the likes of Dugin and his lineage of dark-side intellectuals. RAW’s experiential knowledge of various occult and/or religious practices and his multi-model agnosticism, demonstrated by his careful written and spoken communications, tackle and take-down a notch much of the fascist, racist, xenophobic and barabaric ideologies at the root of the New Right Eurasianism of Putin/Dugin.
“Dugin writes, “there must be placed one fundamental principle–the principle of ‘a common enemy.’ A negation of Atlanticism, a repudiation of the strategic control of the United States, and the rejection of the supremacy of economic, liberal market values–this represents the common civilizational basis, the common impulse which will prepare the way for a strong political and strategic union”
John B Dunlop, Aleksandr Dugin’s Foundations of GeopoliticsWhereas Dugin promotes a pluralism of global disturbance and eschatological end-times, Wilson promotes a pluralism of empathic understanding, solidarity and optimism based on technological advancement coupled with neurological relativity, a minarchy of self-owning one’s, or individualist mutualist syndicalists. Where Dugin uses language and symbols to manipulate his readers to question everything and follow a god-like authority, Wilson uses language and symbols to seduce his readers into questioning everything, thinking for themselves in a secular manner and finding the others. Both writers have an uncanny ability to cause you to think differently about the left/right axis of politics, however one of them is a part of Vladamir Putin’s inner circle and the other isn’t. Perhaps it’s time those shouting about protecting western democracy and defeating the new Russian threat supported independent artists, writers and critics of the Robert Anton Wilson school, grass roots organizations, publishers, media savvy fun loving peaceful warriors who wish to help with their skills, yet are underfunded and largely ignored by mainstream, for profit, news media and learning institutions imho.
Faith and docility are the bulwarks of Tsarism; any hint of scientific knowledge, rationality or even plain “horse sense” among the serfs are its major worries, and it blocks them every way it can. No Tsar will ever lavish such praise on scientists or other professional skeptics as [Barry] McCaffery lavishes on the faithful and the sheep-herders who lead and fleece them.
Robert Anton Wilson, TSOG: The Thing That Ate The Constitution. (2000)“If you want to fight, you better organize”
Dr Marshmallow Cubicle, Stop The Cuts.Another sharp contrast between the two esotericists is Wilson’s understanding of general semantics and his explicit willingness to encourage readers, whoever they be, to think clearly and use the tools he’s offering up for the betterment of themselves and their community. Dugin appeals to militarists and sociopathic hard-men with his mapping of Aryan Traditions and elitist boasting. Wilson satirizes and mocks such anal-territorial pontifications using both non-fiction and fiction. Then there’s conspiracy theory. Then Q-anon. Then there’s Putin’s shadow. How much from the Dugin school of political conspiracy mongering is manifest right where you are sitting now?
Aleksandr Dugin: A Russian Version of the European Radical Right? by Marlene Laruelle is an excellent place to start if you’re not so familiar with Dugin. My only critique of my sources used here, is the authors do not aim to provide much of a rebuttal and/or suggested reading list to help combat these powerful truths uncovered. Where are the good guys in this fight? RAW accompanied his critical writings on sordid entities with maps, models and new metaphors to help build an alternative to the obstacles and entities invoked by the research, i.e,. multi model agnosticism, neurological relativity, interacting mind-body nervous-system processing, non-simultaneously apprehended plurality. Please visit and support www.hilaritas.com

Gehlen was not only a master spy but a wizard negotiator. Within a week, he was out of his Nazi uniform and into a U.S. Army General’s uniform; the U.S. intelligence services, in return, got the info about the Soviets, including access to Gehlen’s agents in the Soviet government — a group of Mystical Tsarists who had infiltrated both the Red Army and the KGB.
Robert Anton Wilson, TSOG: The Thing That Ate The Constitution.“The early-20th century Eurasianist ideology of a part of the Russian emigration and modern neo-Eurasianism developed by Aleksandr Dugin has been declared the main ideology of the organization.[6] On its website, the movement declared the West and in particular the United States as its main opponent and termed it as the “main evil”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_Youth_UnionThe anti-Americanism of the Japanese, “who remember well the nuclear genocide and the disgrace of political occupation,” must be unleashed, as well as the fervent anti- Americanism of fundamentalist Muslim Iranians (234, 241). On a global scale, Dugin declares, “the main ‘scapegoat’ will be precisely the U.S.
John B Dunlop, Aleksandr Dugin’s Foundations of Geopolitics.“In 2005, Dugin was invited to participate at an inaugural meeting of the British New Right group organised by Troy Southgate, a former British National Front activist and currently a self-confessed New Rightist.
Anton Shekhovtsov, Aleksandr Dugin’s Neo-Eurasianism: The New Right à la Russe.Dugin advances various occultist lines of reasoning in favor of this Hyperborean theory, drawing on the mystique of the alphabets, sounds, numbers, and geometric symbols, references to the Kabbala, alchemy, Hermeticism, Gnosticism, the law of astrological correspondences, parallels with Iranian and Indian culture, etc.
Marlene Laruelle, Aleksandr Dugin: A Russian Version of the European Radical Right?Tsarism represents an intermediate form between European monarchism and Asian despotism, being, possibly, closer to the latter of these two.

My view on migrants, immigrants and those fleeing war.
My view on migrants, immigrants and those fleeing war.
Immigrants, and immigration are very very touchy subjects this year. Touchy to mean, politically amplified, and like an elephant in the room, socially speaking, a moral ethical blind spot. The subject matter influences a lot of people who hardly talk about it, for various reasons. Often, avoiding the discussion so not to get into an argument. It’s a divisive matter, a tricky one where you should step carefully, like barefoot at night in a garden of hedgehogs.
Unfortunately, the question of immigration, and conditions for gaining citizenship to any country, and/or seeking refuge from war, famine, disaster, have been muddied by highly specialized disinformation artists. “But, they could be terrorists” is a popular negative argument for supporting tough immigration policy. Tough to mean, an end to the free movement of people (Whatever that technically means at any specified moment). Besides the existing border controls and regulations, I think that politically motivated actors have combined a far-right anti-immigration policy, with the popular “war on terror” narrative, such as “All muslims are terrorists”. As blunt as that sounds, I think that’s the size of it. If refugees were coming over in the same numbers from a war torn country in say, 1999, do you think we would have the same kind of public response? Surely we can afford to help 2000 refugees per year, who enter the country illegally?
I would argue that since 9/11, and the war of terror, instigated by Bushware 2.0, the creeping fear of Muslims, and new narrative of the foreign invader has slowly wormed its way into the “will of the people” until now, 18 years later, and the Trump Brexit nightmare, and rise of the right building upon seeds of anti-immigration and anti-muslim rhetoric, stolen from Nazi’s, reinvented by neoliberals. And meanwhile the climate changes, or gets worse. Bad.“It is easy for these politicians to condemn the gangs of traffickers cashing in on human misery. But our governments could put these gangs out of business and alleviate the mass of human suffering by opening up legal routes to sanctuary, shared fairly across every EU country. Instead of doing this they ramp up fears of the other by clamping down on a few dozen desperate refugees who are trying to reach our shores.–Diane Taylor, Guardian. 1/1/19.
I started this piece of writing due to revisiting a friends blog, Michael Jaidev, since reading the latest pronouncements from British officials concerning refugees on boats, entering the UK illegally. Now I can understand the concern, that “terrorists” at worst, and dirty refugees with no money or skills to offer, at best, are entering the UK illegally. Of course, we should not just let them in to make their own way. But for Christs sake, LOOK! Some but not all of these poor souls are truly fleeing from horrific scenes of war and oppression and hate, crime and death and famine. SOME but not all, of these illegal immigrants really need help. If YOU were to see them I think you would help them, the sense of human connection is strong like that. Yet, from a distance, and through the lens of the Tory led UK Gov, and tabloid media, no such desperation exits. The possibility that they are terrorists is highlighted, and becomes the narrative. “Foreign invaders” as if they were Vikings, here to sack the British isles. I digress, my point…
Michael Jaidev, and his wife, volunteered to go and help refugees in Lesvos, Greece. He travelled there, and went out on boats to both assist those coming ashore, pluck some out of the water, and try to help, meet, greet, show warmth and care. Really, incredible fucking stuff that he and his wife did. He blogged about the entire experience, which you can read for yourself to get all the details of his journey, with pictures and brilliant, insightful feedback about the often harrowing work in service of humanity. Man, Michael, you’re one of the brightest lights I ever had the pleasure of meeting. For context, Michael and I met in the Yucatan, for the 21st December, 2012 celebrations. His volunteering in Lesvos speaks volumes about his character. Visit: https://www.satnamfoundation.org/
Today, 1st January 2019, you can read UK headlines about new waves of immigrants on boats, entering the UK, and quotes from Saijd Javid, fanning flames of confusion, following the tired narrative of fear about immigrants. When, in fact, the numbers of migrants has fallen over the last 2 years, “The number of clandestine arrivals at UK southern coastal ports in 2017-18 was 1,832, a 23% decrease on the 2,366 of these arrivals the previous year.”
“The idea of the Hope Center is to create a stable place for Refugees to arrive and receive hospitality – the ability to make their own tea, serve themselves food, and change clothes in privacy. The hotel can hold 2-300 people at once, and will be set up with hot showers, toilets and space for people to sleep if need be. We will provide refugees with sleeping bags, changes of clothes and basic necessities to help them on their journey.”-M. Jaidev.
Where are the volunteer (or the paid) people on their boats, out there in the cold waters looking to HELP anybody entering the UK in some shoddy boat or vessel. Maybe they have some warm clothes, some food, and maybe, just maybe a bed to sleep in temporarily, until they can be properly processed by the authorities. At help until they are out of clear danger? No? Oh, you mean, we should look after 1, 831 of our own, proper British citizens first, before lending our humanity and charity to some strangers, to some immigrants coming on a boat, who could be anybody, they could be here to blow up a nuclear power station or something, right? Wrong.
When faced with the possibility of saving a human life, and the added IMPACT of saving a refugee, a relative stranger, it sends a powerful message to the world, so go take the torch and carry it into 2019. It’s not difficult to love all sentient beings and prioritize your fellow humans. Help, simply, practically.
Like Michael did. He volunteered to help strangers, fleeing war and murder, fleeing with families and hardly any belongings, to show that some westerners care about them, and what happens to them. Still others feel that, since they may have had a hand in causing the disruptions in their homeland in the first place (back to 9/11 and war on terror) said countries should be the first to offer resources, funds, charity, personel, warm greetings…to those poor victims.
“So, here we are. Is part of me enraged? Yes, everyday. Though it typically turns to sadness as I look around at the current state of humanity. We continue to bomb Syria, displacing millions and killing hundreds of thousands. The profound culture of Tibet continues to slowly die. Civil unrest is rampant throughout Africa. Central America is filled with crooked officials and drug runners. Suicide is now one of the top 10 causes of death for children in the United States. The list goes on.–M. JaidevOh, I hear you at the back shouting “You don’t fucking live in the UK, or by the sea where they come in, so, you can’t tell us nothing from out in Amsterdam mate. Invite em’ into your fckin’ ouse, into your town, into Holland, see how you like it.”
“Bollocks”, I say to that. I live in a city with over 190 different nationalities all getting along very well. There are probably refugees here, but to be honest I don’t care. They’re not blowing shit up and murdering people in the streets. People here have to learn to get along and keep their prejudice tamed, at least on the surface, sure, bubbling underneath Dutch society, and most European countries right now is the dormant immigration nightmare, the horrors of the Muslim invaders, intent on bringing the caliphate state to Europe, as Wilder’s likes to promote. The classic western paranoid nightmare of Oriental invasion. Wilder’s is like the brother of Yannis, and step brother of Stephen Yaxley Lennon, a.k.a Tommy Robinson, fortunately Wilder’s remains less successful with the youth. Let’s leave that in 2018, and move onwards and upwards, show and share some humanity however you can. Help a stranger, be nice. Love all the people.
“I cannot give up on Humanity – as it is my duty to serve this planet and all she creates. I see the possibility for a future where we embrace one another in peace and love. It is your choice to dream what you dream. What do you choose? What kind of world do you wish your children to live in?Begin dreaming now.–M. Jaidev.

–On the Newscorp Hacking Scandal.Growing up with the weeds in the UK from 1976-2000, has helped shape my experience and observation concerning the relationships between the gov’t, media corporations and their effects upon culture, both my own local culture and–through the emergent technology of the internet– into other cultures.
Today we are aware, i hope; of the global military industrial agricultural media beast that traverses the planet and beyond, aware of the programing. Healthyly suspecting the borg of modifying their database in favour of profits and a competitive edge rather than precise information, reporting, sharing and honest feedback. The opposite of a scientific approach.
It seems to me in light of the Newscorp hacking scandal that the model of the ‘spy’ and the spy’s cloak and dagger strategy for achieving goals best suits the behaviour and actions of Murdoch, Rebecca Brooks, Hunt and the long list of dirty private investigators, sneaky journalists, colluding police officers and sympathetic double cross politicians.
“I am not saying its wrong, I am saying its the wrong interpretation of what I said.”– Rupert Murdoch, April 25th 2012
