  • T is for Tale: of the Tribe (Happy NEW Year!)

    I made this reply at a forum to a question about the
    Tale of the Tribe – the title of an unfinished book by
    Robert Anton Wilson, and also the name of a past course
    At the Maybelogic Academy, which may return as a self
    Directed course in the future!

    There is a book titled “The Tale of the Tribe”:
    Ezra Pound and the modern verse epic by Micheal Bernstein.
    Although RAW’s interpretation of the tale of the tribe and
    The course work material expand way beyond Pound and poetry
    This book IMHO still gives a wonderful “Rag bag of notes”
    From which to tuck into. It might be classed as literary criticism
    At a library or bookshop? but now after RAW’s touch,
    This book has become a great research tool for me,
    I would say a good introduction to some RAW TOTT material

    The Chinese Written character as a medium for poetry by
    Ernest Fenallosa proved to be another valuable, insightful text
    For making the most of the class, and perceiving differently
    You can find this text on-line.

    The Cantos of Ezra Pound and
    Finnegans Wake by James Joyce are two primary
    Texts/maps/puzzles permeating the entire course,
    And known universe – read them and re-read them Bob
    Might say.

  • The Number 23 [THE MOVIE] Feat Jim Carey


    Yeah, i can relate to the synopsis of this movie Number 23. It is Due for release 23/2

    This movie has Robert Anton Wilson all over, under and secreted through it, and William Burroughs too, as he turned RAW onto the 23 enigma originally – see RAW’s book “Cosmic Trigger: The Final secret of the Illuminati” for more details. This book and possibly ILLUMINATUS itself, written with Bob Shea, might be the book outside of the movie that can pull YOU into the movie. At least this synopsis outlines the kind of strange phenomena i have personally experienced after gratfing the number 23 onto my DJ avatar and drafting in some strange and wonderful entities!

    It’s like a story within a tale within a dream within a perpetual case of Deja Vu, and i have not seen the damn movie yet! Set to become a cult classic i rekon, i predict. If it’s called the number 23 then it has extra meaning to me, because i have been touched by the 23 enigma, i have proof that it is NOT just another number after 22 and before 24. 23 has a very magical quality. It once spoke to me and said Fly Agaric. My birth date 15/04/76 = 23, when you add the single digits together and my birth year 1976 also = 23. What does this mean? well, it means you should buy MY book “World Piss: The spore or the woids” and find out for yourself. I think it means we are all going into space on the 23rd of some month or other, i am not certain which one yet, maybe December, maybe July? Maybe this movie will hold some clues. I discovered it best NOT to read too deeply into numerology from my encounter with the 23 enigma, and Cosmic Trigger – to a limited extent. Maybe this movie will re:light my 23 fire? I hope so, lets all watch it together and moke annoint.

    “Animal control officer Walter Sparrow (Jim Carrey) has found a book he doesn’t dare put down. By reading a mysterious novel, “The Number 23”, given to him as a birthday gift by his wife, Agatha (Virginia Madsen), Walter wists his once placid existence into an inferno of psychological torture that could possible lead him to his death and the deaths of his loved ones.     The novel is a chilling murder mystery that seems to mirrow Walter’s life in dark and uncontrollable ways. Nightmarish fantasies come to haunt Walter concerning terrible fates for his wife as well as family friend Isaac French (Danny Huston), placing him on a desperate quest to understand the mysteries of the book.
