“During the 2012-2013 winter season the research team will go “deep field” into West Antarctica to sample water from the lake in the search of “tiny life forms never before seen” and to extract sediment from the lake bed to find clues as to how the climate has changed over many millennia.
Professor Martyn Tranter from the University of Bristol will be analysing some of the water from the lake, looking for signs of life. — Smeellygraff

RAW and I met while he was making this Documentary movie in Santa Cruz with deepleaf productions. I swiftly got involved in the project, presenting different ideas and some support and contacts. I have one copy left here in Europe! But now it has appeared on youtube so i suppose this is the unnanounced global launch. Enjoy. —Steve Fly Agaric 23.

HOT is for HUMANITAS ON TRIAL: The Crash of Finnegans Waves
When i read the court proceedings in Joyce’s wake around page’s 572-576, i instantly thought about the court hearing that will come concerning the banking turmoil and crash affecting all humanity, especially the poor and displaced peoples, due to the international global financial system in place in 2009.

Back in 2003, mid summer i was on the road with some of the finest musicians and innovators along the west coast musical environs. Alan Hertz, Tal Morris, Liam Hanrahan, Eric Levey and myself – on the road.
Staying in roadside Motels, smoking Buddha and playing a thousand different tunes, seeing the Northern California landscapes, eating the food and enjoying the company, cutting my teeth with some playing mutherfuckers. Listen to one set from the tour here at the great ARCHIVE.org.

Mushroom Studio
May 28, 2008 – April 15, 2009
Artist Statement
Mushroom Studio is a site-specific work created for the Toronto Sculpture Garden. Loosely based on the form of the Amanita pantherina mushroom—lesser cousin of the red-capped Amanita muscaria—Mushroom Studio is a fungus-shaped sculpture that contains my studio in its stem. During the length of its installation, this workspace will at times be in use, at others will sit poignantly empty. — http://www.torontosculpturegarden.com/currentexhibit.htm
